I lugols dip and shake in the dip, and then super glue the receding area down to the exposed skeleton. Controversial on the super glue whether it actually works but some say it seals the corroding part in it's own bubble. It has worked for me most of the time in the past. Other chalice junkies care to weigh in. After you dip, remember that the chalice is stressed so low light and low flow for a few days so it gets it's swag back
