Rainbow chalice
IMG_9483_zpsff415660.jpg

That picture is not even doing that chalice justice (The picture was taken well it is just one of those chalices you need to see in person to see it really shine)... I got mine in yesterday and it is insane… One of my favorite chalices I've ever owned.. I would post a picture but my computer is broken so I have no way to upload... It really needs a better name than rainbow chalice because in my opinion I really don't think it is like the other rainbow chalices at all… It has a bright glowing orange Golish rim like Brahma mama and a crazy glowing base color like flamethrower with crazy black streaks in it ... And really nice yellow eyes with green in them.. I am not too big on naming corals unless they really deserve it and this one surely does.. Rainbow chalice is just not cutting it!

@Reefer831 I absolutely agree, definitely hard to capture the true colors! It is brighter in person..

Yeah especially the rim… I was lucky enough to have gotten one with almost a full rim on it and it is extreamly bright!

Hey guys those frags are looking good. Im open to new names. I am partial to FX Alpha Dog.

Want to hear something beyond dumb. I fragged an actual rainbow colored rim of the FX Rainbow today glued it got distracted ran out to deliver an aquarium came back 2 hours later and the frag was still sitting on top of the tank. Definitely one of my most redumb moves ever :(

This is nothing too fancy, but it's becoming a mature colony. The whole piece is about 4"x5" and a nice bowl shape. As far as I know it came from the ocean and was not aquacultured.
