Dace, what are the names of the 2md and 3rd? Those are some great pickups!!!

Nice Dave!!! good pick-ups! grow out that PB's so we can trade :)

Awesome colony Jose lmk if you ever sell frags of that bad boy ;)

Dace does it have 2 or 3 colors in the eyes on the Vivid looking one? Looks like i need to get my hands on that Vivid!!

This thread is great! I am new to reef keeping and have become obsessed with chalices. I have had one for a couple months now and I have four more new frags that just came in the mail today. I am at school right now but I cant wait to get home and see how they look in a couple hours. I look forward to all of your insights with growing them. And will keep you posted on how a newby does with them.

The one I have seems to be doing ok. But it looked as if it might have lost a little flesh. I am keeping on eye on it. My water has been good except my density has been a little high. Thats about it. I tried feeding it mycis the other day but it looked as if they didnt really stick to the chalice. I may need to catch it with its tenticals out I dont know.

Welcome to R2R!

Yes it's feeding tentacles is what it will catch the food with.

Dang jose. The piece you got is definitely bigger than the piece I got of the same colony. I must tell you guys this coral is definitely LE material. Too bad at the moment only me and jose have this. HAHAHA

Weird thing about this chalice....its not even colored yet. I cant wait till i put mine in my tank and sit on it for like 1 year.

here's a new one that seems to be best under 175's nice sky blue with orange eyes this is a frag off the mother.
