Wow, impressive colony, my MM frag grows so slow :-( Any tips to improve growth?

No clue.. I had it in several diff tanks. When i first got it the size was about a nickel. Didn't do anything for a year or so. Then moved it to a tank with pc's and high nutrient load and it started to grow fast, but the color faded. Then i fragged that piece and gave it to a good friend. It colored up nicely in his tank and grew like crazy. Now i have it back in my tank and the color got even better. If you look on the left side you can see the last time i fragged it. It healed super quick. Frag is back in my friends tank. I lost my bigger colony a year or so ago. :( I was really bummed when that happened, it was even bigger than this colony. My Current tank has DE Halide 14k phoenix bulb, T-5 actinics and leds and lower nutrient load. So like i said no clue what gets this guy to grow. Maybe when it reaches a certain size it takes off. Wish i could be more helpful.

The yellow and red one doesnt have a name atm,but I have never seen a green rimmed chalice like it!

Its a unique one for sure Kelby!The eyes stand out to me cause they are orange IMO!

Let me know how your first one does kelby... I have went through 2 colonies of it both fade away very slowly it's a tough one to keep....:( "tyree white stripe look a like"
