Guys,
I'm impressed with the photos of your Chealice collection.
I thought of finding answers to my question in this forum thread.
I flipped through pages 20 back, but only beautiful photos and nothing concrete information.
Maybe someone will advise on the conditions of detention, feeding?
Or treats him like an ordinary LPS?
My Chealice bought from my local dealer on Black Friday.
He had rainbow Chealice frags for 250$ per nail-sized frags without a discount.
But the two-color Chealice (half red, half blue) sold for 180$, and I bought for 90$.
I have not photographed it yet.

Hi guys.
The day before yesterday I acquired my first chalice .
Asked several local reefers about the location in the tank. Recommendations - low light.
Several forums have recommended strong light for better color.
There are 490 pages on this forum thread. Of course I will read everything, but not soon.
How do you advise?
How fast is chalice growing?
I have a 80 gallon tank. Lighting 4XT5 Aquatic-Life, Kessil A360UW and 30 watt DIY Led.
From personal experience, low flow and medium light has produced best results for my rainbow chalice. I also feed reefroids 2xs a week. I hope that helps.

Thanks. Well, I did just that. The frag is very small, the size of a nail. I glued it just below the middle with an average flow of water and direct feeding of reef rods twice a week.

Looking back, I probably should have put this in a more photo-friendly spot lol. Developed gold mouths & teal splashes over time.

Wish it wasn't still on a plug - but I'm swapping tanks around the house and not sure where this one will end up.

I have another frag about the same size but with 6 of the orange spots - and soon to be 7

That's a beauty

Is the top one the J Fox UFO Chalice ? I have been wanting to get a frag but have been looking for a picture of one before I bought it :)

No, the top one is a Jason fox chemical reaction chalice... Bottom is a Area 51 chalice, and the red one on top with green eyes is Jason fox evil eye chalice...

What kind of par and flow do you put rainbow chalices on I was told lower light and flow but at lfs they are in a high flow tank with a lot of light. Just want advice I have 2 and I keep at the bottom of the tank with decent flow. The pictures are from a few months back.
