Chalice Spawning or POoping any input?

i have this chalice nothing special but walked by the tank the other night and saw that every eye about 15-20 were releasing this brown black stuff which soon broke up in the water column only too a few seconds and that was it and the coral looks great today

any thoughts

Nah sounds like they were useing the bathroom I catch all my corals doing that at one point or another corals go potty just like fish do :wink:

Check out youtube for videos on coral mass spawning.. it looks much different than poop.
