APEX has been a major game changer

I can be anywhere in the world and feed my fish on command, change my lighting settings, monitor measurements, on and on.

Apex is to reefing what the Microwave did to the kitchen

Well dang if I would have known the Apex could make me hotpockets and popcorn I would have jumped aboard the Apex train long ago.

I wish leds would have never came to the hobby. They are garbage compared to mhs or t5s.
The technology should be put into exsisting proven tech. My opinion.

The pumps have greatly improved. Automatation has taken great leaps.
It used to be common sight to see 3 5gal buckets at least next to a reef tank during a routine wc. Ppl dont even to wcs anymore to restore balance. Lol.

Haha I love MH/T5 combos still. Still got a MH/PC combo too if anyone is interested lol. If cost was not an issue I would still be using them. However I am thankful for LED. I run a lot of lights between my tanks and between the heat and the electricity the LED is a very large cost savings (not even including bulb changes).
