After watching chasing coral on Netflix and crying a good portion when they showed the pics, I instantly went into research mode to find out what i can do. I came across this link from the website of a petition to sign urging to keep coal mines from getting in near the GRB. Please let's all help this cause that we put so much time and energy into!

I was lucky enough to be at the premiere in January, honestly i had never cried in a movie before. It's so good to see everyone starting to get inspired after seeing it. Thanks for sharing this.

Please help us all and let's sign this petition.

I feel like soon enough the only reefs left will be those in our living rooms. Sadly.
Signed.
Thanks for the support! I to feel sad about it all. We need to do whatever we can to save this precious hobby and ecosystem that we love.

Please share with everyone you know. Encourage everyone to watch the movie! We need to get the word out!

Will be watching it tonight with the wife. Signed 100%

I just watched it today and it was really eye opening. I wonder if there are ways the reefing community can help solve this problem.[emoji853]

Absolutely, anyone can help!

Animal agriculture emits more greenhouse gases than anything else, more than all transportation combined. Eating a bit less meat is the easiest and most effective way to help fix the problem we created. Try "meatless Mondays". :)

Or do you mean help as in a coral restoration type of way? For me, planting corals on a wild ocean reef has always been my ultimate goal.
