I wanted get back into the hobby but my wife wouldn't let me spend much. She really said no more tanks after I sold my last one so score one for me! I got everything new as I dont like buying used stuff.

36 bow front with stand a white light - $125 petsmart black friday.

Fluval 207 - $62 Petsmart

40 Lb Caribsea Liferock 40 Lb - $80 Amazon

Jager heater $20

Current USA Orbit Pro - $77 eBay

Jebao Ow-10 - $50

RO Buddie with DI - $35 Chewy

I used Bio-spira to cycle and added fish the same day. I added coral the following week. Right now tank has been running 2 weeks today. I've been getting some diatoms which might have been worse as I started with tap water but I will use RO from here.

Great looking tank. I love the 36bf, it was my first sw and it'll probably be my next tank. Any nips from the flame?

Thanks. So far so good but the tank has only been up 2 weeks. Nicest "reef safe" fish so hopefully he stays that way.
I hope it works out for you. I got an eibli angel a few months ago, and not 5 minutes in the tank it started on my acans. I was going to remove it the next day to return it, but that morning I found it being eaten by my large hermit :(

Oh wow. Flames and coral beautys are known to be the most coral safe. The others are more likely to nip.

This is awesome, my brother in law has a Bowfront and I love that tank because you don't get any distortion when you're looking at the display.... keep us updated!

I have a bowfront and personally, I’m going to a flat front next time. I can’t use my long scraper to clean the front so I have to get my arms wet every other day or so.

My Tunze scraper works fine.
