Cheap but successful systems

I've heard about that one haha. I think the smallest tank on r2r qualifies, WHERE ARE ya?

Made this little reef for under 100 pretty much
Got the tank for 13 at a surplus freight store
Filter was 12 at Meijer
2 48w lights were 26 together
Heater was 10 on sale
Rock I bought at Lfs for 2/lb
Sand was 5 per bag I bought 2

As u can see I'm able to keep maxis and softies very happy. I tried a plate coral but I died while I was on vacation which may have been due to high salinity from evaporation.

Note. eBay and Craigslist can be your best friend! Also shopping around for the best deals is a plus
