This pumps suction cup kept failing and falling in my sand...while I’m waiting for the new one to come I did this lololol. Drilled a hole in an old glass cleaner and zip tied the pump to it....cheap fix for now hahahaha!

Seriously though, I hate suction cups. Looks like you have something a lot better than those stupid suction cups.
 
Old magnetic glass cleaners are great. I glued my seaweed clip to one instead of buying a magnetic clip once. It was great, but it made it stick to far into the tank to use as a glass cleaner.
 
I Epo Putty suction cup in place and brace with an unused plastic fly swatter till it sets. (Epo will set underwater.)
