I have no idea how to run media in my tank. :( I have an IM Nuvo 20 Fusion and it has 2 back chambers for media. Right now I have a filter sock in one of the chambers and in the other chamber I have one of the stock caddy's running the 3 sponges that IM makes ( carbon, phosphates and filter floss)
Now, the filter sock does catch some gunk but the caddy with the sponges doesn't seem to be helping anything. Right now I have a tank with very cloudy water... I want to get some purigen or phosguard or maybe chemi-pure blue but I have no idea how to run it in the tank.. I don't have a reactor at this time so that its an option right now..

Does anyone have any ideas?

In my pico I simply replaced the area that your sponges are with chemipure elite blue. I don't have the same tank, but I would do the same thing. If you can fit the required amount of the media and retain one or two of the sponges I would, but don't think it absolutely necessary.

I only have one sponge in my 12g nano. Under that, there's a bag of gfo and a bag of chemipure elite. Next chamber has a skimmer. Good luck!

Copy that. So I can just toss the bag in? That would work! lol

That definitely works. I used to run a bag of chemipure elite in one of the media chambers on my Fusion 20 and it worked well. I also removed all of the sponges completely. Occasionally I'll run filter floss in the top chambers on both sides to remove debris, like after water changes when things are stirred up.
