Hey all, I dosed the ammount recommended for my 30 gal tank. It’s been 24 hours, corals didn’t open up today. They look ok, but just not opening up. Everything else is normal. Should I be worried?

You said you dosed for 30 gallons.

I assume there is rockwork/live rock in tank. With that....... reduces your total water volume and in essence, you have about 22 gallons of useful space. Treat for 20 gallons with anything you use in the future. I'm not saying you overdosed but pull back a little just in case. This is a very good product you are using and I have had success with it.
Can it affect your corals- yes it can.

Thanks for the response. It looks like I did put alittle too much in then. Will be doing a wc tomorrow, and will return to protein skimming and will add new carbon. Just wondering, is it possible the chemi clean killed off my population of copepods?

Did you add an airstone? Chemiclean tends to drop o2 levels. My run the skimmer but not the cup. I overdosed my tank and everything was fine. I can't say it hurt my pods either. I still have them everywhere. Red scooter is fat and sassy
