I picked up a cherry bomb tenuis a few months ago back in October and it's still brown/not colored up. Polyp extension is good. PAR around 300.

Parameters are in line and all other acros in this tank are doing great.

What concerns me is it hasn't encrusted at all onto the frag plug, not even a little bit. Normal for a cherry bomb? Just let it keep riding as is?

I had a Cherry bomb for 5 years and got almost zero growth out of it. Other Acros literally grew by the pound. That coral is a pain in the rear. Been at this a looong time and I couldn’t crack the code on that one.

That helps, thanks!

I’ve never grown that one but I find all the tenuis in my tank love par. 400+ and they grow and color up real nice. Also I never found white bugs in my tank but after I treated my tank with heart worm medication they now give great PE and look very happy so I might have had white bugs and didn’t know it.
