Hi everyone,

I bought a small pygmy angelfish a week ago - it picked at rocks all day and also eat frozen food readily.

However, it does not react to small Hikari marine pellets at all even if they float in front of it.

Is there another brand of pellets that worth trying?

Thanks!

Are you mixing the frozen with pellets, if not give it a try. Make sure to add Angel specific foods. Try to feed multiple times per day.

Thanks Tahoe, I mixed frozen with the pellets for a couple of days and she didnt seem to go for them still. However today, I just dropped pellets just on their own, and she started to eat them! Hopefully she will continue to eat them before I use the auto feeder when I'm away on vacation next month,

Pellets are not a complete diet and should be supplemental. Try brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and even LRS fish frenzy. Plankton also good
