Was wondering if reef safe first question. 2nd how big of tank do u need for this guy? 3rd will he get along with my tominni tang? I have a 60 gallon cube. Only fish I have are 2 clowns tominni and a melanoris wrasse. It is a smaller one now, been eating for a month now. Any help is appreciated don't wanna waste $$ or worse hurting one of my fish.

60g is way too small for a chevron and I would imagine he and the tomini would not enjoy co-habitating in anything less than a 220.

This is a correct statement. The Chevron is one of the biggest of the Ctenochaetus genus and would be too small for a 60 gallon, especially with one of the same genus like the Tomini. Live Aquaria recommends 180 gallon as a minimum. The Tomini was a good choice for the tank though.

Smart plan. I was really tempted to get one locally for my 125g but at the end of the day it just wouldn't be a great fit

If you have a little one (3" or less) it would be okay for a year or so. I kept one in a 56 gallon with no problems for 2 years. I moved it to my 180 once it hit 4" in size.
