Hello
My chiller is approximately 8 years old and has been flawless. Recently I noticed its cycles a lot which makes me think it’s loosing its cooling ability. Looking for a replacement recommendation. My tank is 100 gallons.

The heat exchange might just be clogged with dust and stuff. You might pull off the screen covering the heat exhange and try vacumning them off first before replaceing them.

I will check it out. I do keep the filter clean so I wouldn’t think it’s that but can’t very checking.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
