At our LFS they got a Aqueon 210g for $500 MSRP is $1200 because two corners are chipped. Is it worth the risk to save $700 or should we just pass on this? is it possible to fill the spots in to preserve structural integrity like with clear resin or something? Or is this tank DOA?

Hellss yes I would buy that as long as all damage was on the front panel but I'm a habitual tinkerer and they won't get $500 for it so I would offer less.

Call around and order a piece of low iron glass for the front and replace it.

I was just pricing out panels for a 6*2*2 and the front low iron piece was the most expensive at a bit under $200.

I would say no, but on the other hand if you do get it I’m sure there are ways to repair it maybe get some glass worker to make armored seams for it and caulk those in…. 500 bucks is too much for the risk talk them down to half that?

I don't see why everyone is knocking that wonderful terrarium.
A reptile would love to call it home.:D
This. For an iguana, sure. To fill with water for fish, heck no. If you decide to try, I'd suggest setting it up in the garage rather than the house.
