Hello everyone,

I just wanted to ask if I needed to get chloramine removers for my rodi system for 3ppm of chloramine, I noticed that my DI in my 4 stage RODI turned brown in 3 months and it’s only a 20 gallon tank, i haven’t tested TDS but will soon, not sure if that’s normal or not, it’s the RODI buddy system I’m using, also wondering if I should upgrade from this system and what different people would recommend, sorry if this isn’t the right sub.

Check the TDS of the water coming into the DI first. Also, an old membrane is the most common reason for resin getting depleted quickly

The whole system is only 3 months old if that’s what you mean, how do you check if the membrane is old? I’m assuming only with TDS?

Extra catalytic carbon filter may help.
