I went to my LFS today and was looking at a tank with around 12 young clownfish in all around 1 inch in size.
I noticed one hosting a plastic coral and one being very aggressive to all the others.
i assume they would be classed as a pair.
The aggresive fish was picking on one in particular and this one was mainly staying in the bottom corner of the tank.
At the moment i don't have any fish i'm just looking around to see whats avalible and what i'd like.
Which fish would you choose, one of the nine displaying no aggresion or weakness.
Would you choose the one in the bottom corner or would he be too stressed.
what's your thoughts when choosing fish.

I would choose either just the one being picked on, or the one hosting the plastic coral and the aggro one.

I'd pick the hosting one. Would assume it starts hosting an anemone more readily when added to your tank. Clownfish in general are mean to each other, so not sure if this would reflect it being mean to your other fish.
I would avoid the one being picked on.

As was suggested, I’d get the ones “flying under the radar” and not doing anything to get noticed. My wife picked one out based on the colors, and he turned out to be semi-retarded (spent his brief life trying to host the outlet nozzle)...
