I am setting up a 40 breeder with a trigger 34 sump

I currently have a bubble Magnus curve 5 and have a line on a Octo Classic-110 INT

I have used both in the past and wondering what everyone thinks is the better skimmer

I like the adjustment feature on the reef octopus but that’s just personal preference

What would you go with?

I’ve had both. Both work well. I wouldn’t say one was better than the other. I finally settled on a Nyos.

.

we at our company https://gouttieressaintjerome.ca/ office have Octopus Classic-110 INT and it works fine and great.
Both skimmers are great choices, but if you're leaning towards adjustable features, the Reef Octopus Classic-110 INT might be a better fit, especially for fine-tuning skimming performance. However, the Bubble Magnus Curve 5 is known for consistent performance and efficiency, so if ease of use and reliability are more important, it’s the best option. Ultimately, it depends on your specific preferences for maintenance and tuning. Both should work well in your setup!

Of all the skimmers I looked into, I thought the best of Octo. That's the route I'm going when it's time to launch.

I currently use the bubble magus curve 5 on my 40 breeder with 20 gallon sump, its worked perfectly for me, no complaints at all. No experience with Octo skimmers
