This is my first attempt at a salty! I breed FW fish and have 10+ FW tanks, so I'm pretty good at those!
This tank is currently sumpless/skimmerless and has been doing OK like that for about 5 months.

Equipment

Marineland® 27 Cube (20 x 18 x 20)
Fluval E 100-Watt
Hydor Koralia Nano 240
2x LEDTRiC™ PAR38 TruPop™ 18w ReefLamp™ - 60° Optics
30 pounds of live rock
20 pounds of sand

Livestock
2x Maroon clown (attempting to pair)
YWG
Bicolor Blenny
Six-Line Wrasse
Firefish
(This stock is not working out, attempting to tweak it but the firefish/YWG are always in hiding-- no fatalities yet)

So here come the pics!!
Day 1!

I will take a new FTS when I get home =)

Looks good. Im guessing if the clowns start breeding you will see the aggression come out. Thats a pretty big bio load for a 29g with no sump or skimmer.

Nice tank! I like those marine land cubes.

Very nice coralline coverage too since day 1. Lookin good!

Ugh, I know. Thinking of getting rid of the bicolor and the six-line. I'd have a hard time ridding myself of the two clowns, but maybe I can throw them into the 120g when I get it up and running. When I observe the tank, the only aggression I see is between the male/female clown, so I'm not sure that they're causing the problem *yet*. In regards to the bioload, I think it does OK because I have almost no corals. I've always got my eye on it, though!

But thank you everyone for the kind words!! I didn't even realize how much coralline there used to be before these pics! I'm still too chicken to move too far away from softies, but maybe I'll take the plunge soon! Also getting rid of the stupid crabs in there soon...

Did you drill the tank for a sump . If not what kind of filtration you running. I have the same tank but not sure how I want to go yet.
