Fluorescent photography is basically just exciting the fluorescent pigments in coral (or whatever) and then adding what's called a yellow barrier filter to partially or completely remove the reflected blue light. If you have controllable LEDs, all you really need is the filter for your camera, which are pretty inexpensive. It's a cool way to look at corals, and gives your "old pieces" some new life.

The substrate is CaribSea's Fiji Pink; kind of a medium sized grain. It moves around a bit during high flow periods, but that helps it stay clean.

Levels vary a little within these ranges - PO4: 0.02-0.04ppm, Calcium: 420-440ppm, Alkalinity: 7.0-7.5dKh, Magnesium: 1300ppm

That's the classic green slimer. From the same colony just to the left of it. Looks a little yellow because that's right under one of the Radions.
