Christmas tree worm rock care

I am not sure if this is the right section to post but I assume so since the porites on these guys are SPS?

Does anyone own a Christmas tree worm and have been successful with them? please sure your experience and opinions on them.

Hi, that’s a nice Xmas rock there! I had one very similar but unfortunately every now and then my six line wrasse would pull them out then realise they were to big to eat. I fed my tank with fine particulate food once per week

O wow where did you get that beautiful piece? They are filter feeders so phytoplankton and zooplankton

Nice looking Christmas rock. I really like these. Most I have seen, the corals were all but dead sadly.

Does it look more like a cephastrea than a porites to anyone else?

Thank you all for the response, it is very helpful. I did not realised fish can nipple on the worm. After further research, this is actually a cephastrea than porites. I live in Australia and we are blessed with alot of variety of corals at a decent price, this one cost me $200 AUD.

the worms themselves are filter feeders and the remaining rock structure requires same as most coral:

Haha I don’t know. I don’t think my tank is nice enough compare to the others on there.
