Cipro treatment- Calling all Mushroom Guru's

Someone had just asked about uses for Cipro and I replied I had never even heard of it. I am way behind. I bet if you throw in some Flagyl to go with it you would have some super type of mutant coral. ;Woot

Going to have to look into Flagyl now.
Its funny you mention that. I'm wondering if this Cipro treatment is responsible for the green starting to show up as none of its siblings are showing green.
Would be cool to end up with a super mutant JB LOL

For sure. This one has been my favorite all along. Sure enough with my luck it was the one most adversely affected from my mistakes!

iv just put them into a bath , do they sort of cup up ? i used a quart and eyed the cipro 1/4 of a whole pill . didnt mix too crazy , i can see some speck of cipro on the bottom

I found the best time do give a bath is right before lights out. Mine are already going into sleep mode by then with lamp ramp down. Gives them the whole night to re acclimate before lights out.
Saying that I did get impatient and try it the other way. Didn't feel it was healthy as the went into sleep mode and believe I caused undue stress putting them back in light to fast.
I mix as good as I possibly can. The tabs dissolve quick enough but do have a little residual in the water. Doesn't seem to be affecting them.

OK guys I'm done with treatment. I have achieved desired outcome. Still most likely has a long road ahead but she's definitely acting like a healthy shroom again. Day by day. Today she's actually laid out but up off the gravel reaching toward the lamp Probably about time I start inching her back into a little light.

Sorry for the crappy picture. Shes in far corner of table now and impossible to get a good one.
I will keep updated as she progresses and finds a better home in real light on the garden

Hey all. I've been keeping this one close to the cuff because I am still unsure about outcome but I did give my minecraft a cipro bath with the Jawbreaker/s as I felt it was a hail Mary and still do but shes made 100% turnaround from original state.
She was literally melting, almost completely white and falling apart when i place her in the bath. You can scroll back through and check her out earlier in thread but ill repost her here. She was barely as big as a dime maybe.

Hard to believe this shroom has pulled through looking at these pictures!

Nearly lost all its vesicles. Was falling apart just handling it but after a few baths and not giving up she is making a come back.

Big thanks to @Reefer1978 for telling me about cipro. Wasn't much effort or time put into it. Just a few cpl hour baths. Set in dark corner and kinda forgotten about and here we are a few months later. Wasnt much to it and worth the shot.
Pretty much wrote these 2 shrooms off so its a bonus

She's starting to get some color and structure back in her cap though. Laying down pretty nice as well.
Was looking at some older pictures and got her identified from the group for sure.
Still a long road ahead I assume but heres a quick snap shot to recovery

Quick update here. Cipro JB is really starting to settle in for me now. As well as JF Minecaft.

Have an entirely new issue with my WWC OG bounce!

She has been gradually deflating over last cpl months until looking like this for last few weeks. Not sure whats wrong with it.
So treatments will begin for her tonight!
Although I did treat her once a few weeks ago I may need to give her more treatments as I did treat her once 4 or so weeks ago just to see what happens but didn't see any improvement with her after first dip
If Cipro treatment does not work with her in 5 treatments I will be treating her same way except this time I will be using Amoxicillin bath at same dosage to see if I get any kind of improvement.
I may even mix it up.
Cipro tonight. Amoxicillin tomorrow night so on and so forth.
Idk yet.

Let the games begin. Threw a frank bounce in that has been acting a little wierd as well! I'm prepared to hit these shrooms with baths of every antibiotic available to myself to see what happens if anything.

Unfortunately no it hasn't made any improvements. I have dipped it in cipro as well as amoxicillin, api fin and body, api general cure using same regimen but will probably end up losing this shroom.

Quick update on minecraft shroom I dipped. Still can't believe this shroom made it!
Nothing to report on og. Ordered up some furan 2 going to try dipping in it!

Really disappointing to look at it and nothing to lose at this point!
