So I have this one power head you can see on the far side of the tank and it was pretty strong when I got it but now it's pretty weak...other than replace that one though, where should additional power heads be placed? Should the currents intersect at the middle?

Pumps lose power as they get dirty.
Intersecting like you suggested.
You can also consider an on/off timer for even more variations of flow.

Intersecting like you suggested.
You can also consider an on/off timer for even more variations of flow.
I'll try another pump and try to remember to clean them both... pretty simple solution
