Quick question:

Would a Citron Goby (Gobiodon citrinus) be peaceful with a Firefish and a Linear Blenny in a 32 Gallon cube with lots of rock work?

I have never owned this fish and know Gobies and Blennies can butt heads.

Just thought since it looked so different it might be ok.

Thoughts?

I do have a blenny and a goby in a 65 and the blenny's kind of a bully
My Blenny and Firefish Goby get along just fine for now, but I don't want to push my luck.

Hence doing as much research and getting varying opinions before I pull the trigger.

Thanks for your input.

Well… spot as many gobies as you can.

I’ll give you a clue, I have;
- Lavandula Firefish (Goby)
- Yellow Clown Goby
- Citron Clown Goby
- 2x Rainford’s Goby
- Black Clown Goby
- Yasha Goby
- Griessinger’s Goby
And my tank is 3’x16”x1’ (LxWxH). My Citron is the Boss however everyone gets along. The only fish my Citron will push in line are my other two Clown Gobies and the Leopard Wrasse.

I’ve also had a linear Blenny with my black clown goby in the past and they both got along. The Blenny knew his hiding spots and the goby would perch on him.
So all in all, I’d say your chances are high with success. I’ve had several tanks where I keep several gobies together and I’ve yet to have one fail.
