City's 15 gallon Column NANO reef build

Well...
One thing came today.

It's smaller than I thought it would be and it has no power on off button.
Lucky for me that I have a timer

I still am waiting on the auto water change system, the Tunze powerhead and the neo therm heater.

But I'm getting there.

Columns are such an aquascaping challenge.

I want to make this picture heavy and descriptive.

I received my CPR Aquafuge today.

I am on my way but ran into a problem. The aquafuge was just a little too wide to fit.

Nothing a hacksaw can't fix...

These fuges are a great option for tanks with out a sump. I have the 5 gallon one on the back my my 45 gal bowfront. Love the way it o overflows into the tank allowing all the copepods to live

That's the plan!
I want life in this tank. From microscopic to in your face coal with all kind of biodiversity!

And the parts keep rolling in...

I think the only think I'm waiting on now is for my salt to arrive.

Nope.
Still waiting on Cobalt Neo-Therm 75w heater.

I agree 100%.
With the stand being so narrow, the is no way I could have a usable sump under the tank.

The HOB refugium should work out nicely.

There was a scape on the forum a while back that had almost tree shaped rocks. It looked very cool. They were awesome with Coral on them.

If you ever run across it again, post a link.
I have an idea in mind on how I want this scape to be but I'm not married to it (yet).

I'm open to ideas and suggestions.

Time to paint!

I've considered a shadowbox for the background but so far, I have not found the blue acrylic to make one.
I also don't know if I will have enough room between the HOB refugium and the tank to install one.

I've got time to figure out out.

I can get the paint off easy enough if I decide to install a shadowbox.

Some of the broken coals from this tank are going into the nano to start things off
