I have not feed a Tridacna phyto for a long long time without issue.

Match FW to pH and temp 10-15 min bath.

I just rinsed my Hippopos for about 3 min under the facet to remove cyanbacteria growth, the clam did not even wince. Clams can handle a FW bath, if not then the clam was too far gone.

Possibility for foot injury and or acclimation stress from shipping is common.

Well today my clam still isn't looking good. Think it's done for. The mouth is wide open, the mantle is still receded.
