Clam needs and requirements?

While we are on the subject I am wondering are clams in general pretty easy to maintain? I know you need to feed them and keep calcium up but other then that anything special? My tank is approching 6 months old and is pretty stable as far as paramaters go.

I think that the Squamosa's are the easiest, everyone is different though. As far as feeding them they don't need to be fed.
