I'm in the process of ditching the socks for the clari sea roller mat and my question is how do you plumb it up on a bean animal set up. Should I wye plumb it or should I buy 2 units. any advice or pics or links are deeply appreciated

I use a BM roller filter not a Clarisea but I have the primary going to the filter and the secondary just dumping into the sump. It’s probably less than 5% of the water bypassing the filter.

I have the original (medium) and the large. The filter rolls last a few months so I imagine the micron is closer to 100 not 50. I like them a lot.

I have two tanks with clarisea 5000. On one (75g) I flow both returns into the same clarisea 5000. I do this by doing a T right before water enters the clarisea. The third (emergency) overflow is not connected to clarisea for obvious reasons.

On second (200gallon), I will be adding a second clarisea. I just bought the synergy reef where plumbing is built in for 2.
