Clarisea sk-5000 filter quality

My ClariSea sk-5000 filter stopped working after 10 months and I took apart the motor housing and found that the final gear were completely worn out! I only have the Gen 3 SK-5000 for a year and I do expect better quality for the money they charge! I think my only options is to order a new motor housing :(

From the looks of it, the roller was hung up and it was trying to turn and it stripped that section. I could be wrong. Have you reached out to customer support? Is it still under warranty?

Unfortunately out of warranty. I guess I have to order the whole housing assembly.
