So on the new DT I'm having issues with Micro bubbles coming from my skimmer.

Skimmer is a Octo classic 202-s

I didn't have this issue with it when I had it in the previous tank.

It's sitting at the proper water level in the baffle, it's level, when it's on the water level it's at the bottom to middle of the neck like it's recommended.

has anyone had this issue with this type of skimmer? Is there anything I'm missing?

Might just need to break in to the new system. If you cleaned it before installing it into the new system it will take some time for start working as normal.
