How does one go about cleaning their RO tubing ? I have my Apex Dos setup but noticed white build up (assuming salt) on the inside of the tube and I'm thinking thats slowing things down - how does one clean the RO tubing ? I'm not really looking to disconnect the entire thing as its quite a distance.

Pump it full of vinegar or a mild 10:3 solution of water & muriatic acid. When it's full, let it sit for about 10 minutes and then flush thoroughly before putting it back in use.

but how does one pump it and give it enough force that it breaks things up ?

You push the button on the DOS to pump liquid through. Then you let the acidic solution do its magic and break everything up with a 10-30 minute soak depending on solution strength. Then pump RO water through it to clean it all out.

You can run a calibration on it and actually see if anything is being slowed down.

Usually there’s no salt in RODI.
Haven’t cleaned mine in 3 years now.
Are you sure it’s salt?
