Last Couple days been waking up to my cleaner shrimp messing with a hurt hammer coral.. would it be okay to put him in my sump with my skimmer with No light?

Last Couple days been waking up to my cleaner shrimp messing with a hurt hammer coral.. would it be okay to put him in my sump with my skimmer with No light?

Should be fine. People banish critters to the sump all the time. Just make sure he is kept fed if there is nothing down there for him to snack on.
