Cleaners in Refugium?

Do you add cleaners (crabs/snails) to your refugium? I noticed alot of algae growing on the sand and rubble rock as well as some aiptaisia. I have both culerpa and cheato in there as well. Overall the algae doesn't bug me because its not in my display, but I was just curious because I am getting a clean up crew tomorrow.

I have a couple hermits and snails in my fuge, but it's more due to the way that my fuge is set up. Water enters my fuge from one of the drain lines, so it gives me something to eat any stray food that makes it through the overflow.

I just have a snail or two to clean up the algea so that it doesn't block the light from getting to the macroalgae.

Maybe ill through a peppermint crab and a snail down there. mine gets food in it too.
