I have a couple of extra skimmers lying around, taking up space that I would like to reclaim for other things. Both had been used in my tank at some point or another, so they're both absolutely foul at the moment. Before I offer them for sale, though, I'd like to give them a nice thorough cleaning. Is there anything beyond a citric acid soak and traditional elbow grease that I can use to cut down on the amount of elbow grease required? Bonus points if it's something I can just pick up from somewhere and pour into a bucket for soaking the skimmers without having to mix it up ahead of time. Any products that I shouldn't use on acrylic?

I've always used a bleach soak to make any algae stains go away.

Sicce Pump Cleaner (which I think is just Citric Acid) works great. I let some stuff sit in that for a few days and all it took was a rinse to clean it off.
