Hi

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner for cleaning test tube vials and pipette tips. Would like to give mine a good soaking in something more that just ro that won’t affect later after future reading. Have some citric acid lying around that I use for component cleaning. Would this be safe to use.

Isopropyl alcohol is a common lab glassware cleaner!

Here’s an excellent article which I dug up after my first glass:glass silicone bonds started randomly delaminating on me! (I used acetone for glass prep…)

nice have both laying around. In my mind was thinking these would be risky to use. Good to know now.
