Here’s an idea for cleaning a tank using minimal solution. I used 1 cup citric acid to 3 gallons water to clean the sump (roughly). I let it sit for a couple days and the gunk wiped off super easy. For the display tank (55 gal) I dumped the used sump citric acid and then filled garbage bags with tap water. That filled most of the tank. I then added another three gallons with the remaining cup or so of citric acid. I also plugged the overflows with a combo of rags and latex gloves. It’s dripping into the sump but good enough.
