Anyone have recommendations for cleaning used second hand equipment. Things like pumps, reactors, skimmers, etc. Is a good vinegar bath all that is needed? Any concerns with introducing something bad to your tank using used equipment?

Good old diluted vinegar bath should do the trick. Let things soak for a bit to "loosen" up and then give it a good cleaning and rinse.

Yup. Vinegar.

For mixing tanks hoses ato buckets etc, I use just a bit of bleach and dry in the sun.
