Hey,

I have a 90 gallon reef tank with a 3 inch sand bed and a lot of live rock. The tank is only about 4 months old but it was an upgrade from a tank that had been running for over a year. Five fish and about 40lbs of live rock were transferred to this new tank so I think the biological filter is pretty well established.

Here is my stocking list:
2 Clownfish
1 Banggi Cardinal fish
1 yellow watchman gob
1 melanarus wrasse
1 checkerboard wrasse
1 long nose hawkfish
1 lemmonpeel mimic tang
1 purple short spine pincushion urchin

The problem is that the two wrasses have a tendency to eat any snails/shrimp I put in the tank. I was wondering if anybody has suggestions on possible members for a cleanup crew which are not likely to be eaten by the wrasses. In particular I have a small amount of gree hair algea and I would like something that would clean my sand.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
