I just got this frag. put it in last night. i saw some hermit crabs on top of them grazing..they didnt open up at all that day. this morning now that the lights are on i can see this Clear Jelly like substance covering the heads..there is one head that is perfectly fine. and was actually the only head that i didnt see get stepped on by the hermits...Is this Zoa Pox...or could it just be there reaction to being "attacked per say" all the other frags i got from NERAC/ReefGee are looking perfect. so im just a little confused.

I think it's just a reaction of the tissue plumping up with water after being irritated. But I'm no expert. Wish you luck. Keep an eye on it.

I have a fire and ice colony that seem to slime up like that when my Yuma expands closer to it. Maybe some kind of chemical warfare going on? My fire and ice always recovers fine but does that every once in a while.
