I am looking at getting one of the Clearview lids for my Waterbox. Can someone that has one tell me their opinion on which type to get? The Tsunami are the cheapest but it is hard to tell what the differences are between the 3 types. Any pictures would be appreciated.

Do not get the tsunami. It started to crack at the joints and they would not honor warranty. Also it collects salt creep at the joints so you have to wipe it down all the time. I do even feel they should offer this lid.

The classic lid is fine but Octo Aquatics makes a better product IMO.

I just received and installed my tsunami lids on Sunday on my 300G Marineland Corner-Flo. So far, I'm happy with them, but it's only been a couple days so don't take my word for it. Sounds like Tamberav has much more experience---and now he has me worried. Not sure how big your waterbox is, but I got a lid from Kraken Reef for my daughter's WB 20 Cube and it's awesome. Spend a little extra to get the feed port.

How easy is the lid to remove? I have a Waterbox 130.4 and it is 4’ wide. I am a little concerned it is difficult to remove.

I don't know if Kraken makes lids for that big a waterbox, but if they do and it's similar to my small one, it's going to be light and easy to remove. The clearview tsunami lids I just got are big for my 300, but they are still quite light.

I’ve had my Clearview Tsunami for about 3 months. love it.

I have 0 salt creep anywhere on it and to this day is as clean as the day it came.

it’s very easy to take on and off my Innovative Marine ext 100 4x2x20
The lid sits on the rimless tank using tabs places throughout the edges. Looking at my tank head on I don’t even notice the lid.

it’s also saved my watchman goby and tang from jumping already. Well worth the buy.

I looked at Kraken from what I saw they didn’t make anything over 36 inches

Thanks so much for the replies. It sounds like I might get one of those lids. I have a DIY Red Sea lid kit currently and it is fair. It sags quite a bit and is difficult to get the netting taut. I think it is time for an upgrade.

Just got my 130.4 from them, few issues, about to post something in vendor feedback.

My only pointers is measure ALOT make sure your exact and that you follow the instructions on measuring they give. Also review the CAD drawings they send and confirm by email with questions before you give them the green light to cut.

Also check your junk mail...my CAD drawing sat in my junk for 10 days before I noticed

Nice review. The pics of the excess material left on the frame is a bit concerning. Seems more care would have been taken to make sure it was clean.

The extra came off no problem, razor blade and it was gone, it was so thin I thought it was the protective cover. It may have just been missed thinking that was what it was. It shouldn’t really concern you.
