I have a chance to get a dart pump(3600gph).....Do you think I can get away with running a closed loop on my 75g with out any extra powerheads in the tank?....I will add a K4 behind the rocks.

I will drill for the intake but run the returns around the top through a manifold.

This will be a mixed reef but heavy on the SPS....my thinking is I will be fine until the SPS starts to take off and become colonies...Am I right in my thinking?

I have mine on a closed loop feeding a sea swirl on a 180 and it can be too much flow. It is a full 3600 on a closed loop. I dont think a 75g tank would work well with that much flow. Do you have any substrate?

Running a dart with a ocean motions 4way on a cl on my new 70gal cube also pushing close to 2500gph after head loss on my return lol... I'm hoping it's enough.. you should be really close to where you want to be... I haven't fired mine up yet but I know ande and his 70gal bullet proof cube has the same thing and he's upgrading to a hammer head said there's not enough flow..

Honestly I am running a closed loop on my 75 with a Ocean Runner 6500. It has two outputs and uses loc-line penductors to increase flow. It's hard to get the flow right so the sand stays where it is.

I also have a dart and OM 4 way, but I am afraid to add it to the 75. It will go on the 125 though.
