Closing Anemones

Is it normal for a anemone to close up in the day time? Mine closes once a day and reopens? Does this mean there is something wrong with the lighting maybe to bright, and maybe not bright enough? Could it be the amount of time the lights are on in the day?

Does it generally close up around the same time each day and is there anything done to the tank around that time ( feeding, cleaning ect...)

No. It just closes up for like an hour and reopens, nothing is done to the water.

Sometimes it closes up for an hour in the morning when the lights are first turned on and sometimes it closes up at night when the lights are on. I leave my lights on from 8 AM to 7 PM.

Mine does that, wouldn’t say everyday but often.. had him 6 mos.. is he eating? How old is your tank?
