clown and nem

i currently have a single clown and a bubble tip which does not host my clown. i plan to get a second one soon, if my second clown decides to use the anemone will my current one join?

It is very possible I've learned though clownfish are a little bit tough when they come to hosting anemones

yeah i’ve been trying for a while but my clown isn’t having it

It took about 9 months for my clowns to host this nem, never paid any attention to it, one night, just dropped right in. I had changed nothing.

Just make sure you know the sex of the one, so you don’t end with two females, that won’t work. If you are not sure what you have then you can always add a small one day 1/2 to 3/4” then we know that’s a male.

So if you add a known male, and your current clown is not a female, one of them will change to female.

singles or pairs....that’s all that works.
