I have a Clown fish swimming in bottom of the rear of the tank. It seems to stay in same spot and I took a tool to pick up things and move it down there and it move and came back to same spot. Fish parameters are ok and appears to be breathing ok.

Should I isolated this fish? I have 13.5 but it not currently setup for it.

You’ll need to post a clear video taken under white lights, as well as your water parameters actual numbers. Also, are there other fish in the tank? How long have you had the fish? Is it eating well?

This tank is about 4 months old, but I have 4 clown fishes in my 75 Gallon, at night all 4 will swim in small area but in the day they move around. I have other fish including a Yellow Tank which is doing good and Flame angle along with 4 cardinals and 3 green Cromis. The clowns are the oldest in the tank. I also have some blemy's and gobys plus clean up crew.

My parameter's are

Temp 73.5 scis larger headed - not sure why it does not go up
PH 7.75
Salinity 1.023 - desiring to go uo to 1.025 or 1.026
Phosperous 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 2

I been trying to do corel, but they appear to not make it. I believe it because salinety is too low.

The picture I took is in back, it kind of hard to get. I possibly could get my Instant 360 with underwater housing back there.

I hope these pictures are ok, the close up one was modified in Photoshop and auto tone it.

Sorry - I really need a clear video to evaluate the clown’s breathing rate and swimming pattern…..

Most cell phones work well. Posting videos can be tricky, most people find using a host like YouTube works.

I try to do an instant 360, but had trouble connecting. Also another fish was all over the origiinal one. I wonder if the Clown is pregant. The picture included has the clown swimning with sand. This is lights on max, which I am little concern, because it schedule as night now

She was kicking up sand, this morning she is still alived but still. I touch her with clips and she moved.

I think she is either pregant or have swim bladder disease. I put some food in to surenge and spray around her.

How do I tell if she is pregant?

Just for info, i have a friend that has a clown pair that laze around in a small depression all day, her husbands pair stay in a corner of a different tank at the top. Mine are obsessed with frogspawn mid tank. All about a year old now and all healthy. Clowns can be weird.

Clownfish really only develop eggs if they are being kept with a male that they are bonded with. I do not think it is carrying eggs.
