Clown fish

Hi everyone im not sure if this is the right plve to put this thread. But i have a reefer 625 with mostly tangs and one clown fish in it. It is just a black and white clown( black fins white body) and i also have a bio cube with two maroons in ot one had been in jail aka a separation box for quite a while as they are both mean and wont stop fighting. I was wander ing if i couls move the hold nugget maroon to my 165g that has my other non maroon clown in it. With out them fighting? Please help i feel bad for the jailed clown.

Odds are there will be a fight to the death, especially if they are both female. How long were the two maroons together for before you split them up?

The two maroon were together for a day and there was some bad fighting. Your saying my maroon will fight with my regular clown?

yes almost 100% chance. and maybe you didnt have them together for long enough (the two maroons) depending on their size and then they were bought and put together they will usually fight for dominance. the winner becomes the female, this usually envolves fighting sometimes it looks nasty but its just what they do until one gives up.

I didnt buy them together. One was already established and there all around the same size
