I have a 5 foot x 2 foot reef tank (approximately 120 gallon), and was wondering if it is possible to keep about 6 clown gobies together? Possibly 3 yellow and 3 green. Thanks in advance to all responses.

you definetly can but it will have to be carefully planned and monitored, clown gobies love to perch on rocks and branching sps and can be very territorial towards others of the same species in their territory as you probably already know, so they will need 6 or more different rock structures and or sps colonies for each goby to have a separate perching spot, good luck! absolutely make sure to post photos when you get them 😁

Thank you! I should have added that I already have a diamond goby, long nose hawk, flame hawk, flareback angel, Tomini tang and two percale clowns. Will any of those present a major problem to the clown gobies?

the hawkfish may pose a threat to the clown gobies for both predatory and territorial reasons, the others shouldnt mess with the clown gobies so if you do end up getting them just make sure to watch how the hawkfish behave
