I'm pretty excited that my clown just randomly started hosting my Duncan! I'm pretty happy because I only have a 15 gal nano so I really don't have the room and I don't need an anemone stinging my corals. I just really wanted to share some pics.

Nice! Keep an eye on that Duncan, clownfish are known to smother LPS that they host, sometimes killing one head at a time

FWIW, the clown isn't hosting anything. The Duncan is hosting the clown ;-)

I don't think the Duncan is hosting the clown. It really doesn't have a choice. A anemone host by allowing the clown. They have a choice cause they can easily kill a fish.

I believe it is hosting the clown.

Has nothing to do whether or not the host has the ability to kill what's living on or in it.

That's very cool. Mine will not host any of my corals. Your duncans look really good as well.

Again, the clown is not the host. The organism in which it lives is. A more accurate statement would be "My clown won't use any of my corals or anemones as a host"

Awesome! I love clowns. They're what made me want a saltwater tank.
